Hi! I am Akila Ilaksha Karunanayake (Akilax0) an Instructor at the Department of Computer
Enineering, University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka.
I am interested in Robotics, (specifically in perception, localization and mapping) with a focus on efficient computing
targetting real world deployment. I completed my BS in Computer Engineering
at the Univeristy of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka in 2024. During my undergrad I worked as a research intern
with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2022 and subsequently received the SIPGA award to conduct research at
the Agency for Science, Technology and Research, Singapore in 2023.
